Click the “Pipeline" area.
Select application and choose “Download to LOS" from the Drop-down.
Hit the “Download Now" button.
Click the “Save" button.
You will then be prompted by the following Save as... Dialog. Type in the file name for the application in the area labeled File name:. If you are using Genesis 2000, you must end the file name with .imp or you loan processing software may not show the file when you attempt to import it.
Example: myfile.imp
Pay very special attention to where you are saving the file. It is recommended that you save all of your downloaded applications in a separate import folder in your loan processing software folder. You can change where you are saving to by clicking the Save in: drop down menu at the top of the Save as... dialog and then clicking on the subsequent folders that appear in the large middle window pane.
If you're using Genesis 2000, you would save your applications to "c:genesis*.fnm which is the same as clicking on "My Computer" then "C: Drive" then the "genesis" folder. The * represents the name of the application in the folder.
Step 5:
After you have entered a file name and it's location, click the Save button and you will momentarily see the File Download status.
You will then see the "Download Complete Box" you have successfully downloaded the application. You will now need to import the application.
