Does MIT retain a problem log?

Yes.  Our customer support specialists maintain a technical support log for each client. When a technical problem is encountered, the technical staff are notified immediately whereby the problem is delivered to the appropriate technical group or directly to the CIO or senior programming engineer. The group then determines the nature of the problem and the problem is immediately boarded and addressed according to order of priority and resource.
 
System technical issues which are client related are attended to immediately.
