1. Go to www.vlender.com and click “Member Log In”. Enter your username and password to log in to your Business Process Manager.
2. Click the “Configure” tab at the top to open your website editor.
3. Scroll down the list that appears to the header entitled “Lead Generators” and click on “New Page” to the right.
4. In the “Lead Generator” box enter the name that you would like to give to your new page (i.e. My Newsletter).
5. Select the drop-down menu entitled “Menu Placement” and select the menu that you would like your new page to appear under (i.e. Company Info).
6. Notice that you can turn this page on and off. If you would like to temporarily disable this page at any time you can simply select the “off” feature and turn it back on again at any time.
7. In the first text field you can enter an introductory paragraph such as a sampling or description of the page that your potential borrowers are about to view. This is optional but recommended.
8. The next four fields offer you the option to request that potential borrowers submit certain information about themselves in order to view the page you are creating such as name, phone number and email address. For advanced editing you can request even more specific information such as details on the loan that your borrowers are seeking, or you can leave all boxes empty so that no information is required of your borrowers in order for them to view your new page.
9. In the box entitled “Lead Generator Content” you can type up the page that your potential borrowers will see when they click on the link and enter the required information (if any). There are three ways you can handle this portion of the build.
Option 1: You can type or copy and paste the information into the “Lead Generator Content” box to be viewed by your borrowers as a website.
Option 2: You can upload a .pdf file in the bottom fields (process explained below) thus creating a Link to a pdf document which will open for your clients when they click on it, from there they can download or print the file if they choose.
Option 3: You can do a combination of Options 1 and 2 by typing up an article in the “Lead Generator Content” box and including a downloadable pdf file that complements the article or you can use the first paragraph of the article in the content box and require that clients download the full pdf format at the bottom.
10. If you choose to upload a pdf file you will want to select a name for the file in the “PDF Name” field and then click Browse to locate the pdf file on your hard drive to be uploaded. Again, notice that you can turn the pdf file on and off to temporarily disable and re-enable the file at your leisure.
When you are finished you click “Create New Lead Generator” and voila! Your new page has been created and will appear live on your website!
